Police close Powys border road after van and lorry crash

North Wales Police have enforced a partial road closure on the A487 at Ceinws, near Machynlleth, on the morning of Friday, January 24 at approximately 8am. Police said in their latest update on the situation that the closure had been put in place as a result of a collision between a lorry and a van. Drivers are being asked to take "additional care" in the area.

North Wales Police added that recovery of the crashed vehicles is being arranged. A spokesperson from North Wales Police said: "Please be aware of a partial road closure on the A487 at Ceinws, Machynlleth following a road traffic collision involving a van and a lorry. "Recovery is being arranged but please take additional care if you are travelling towards that direction.
