Speed and traffic light cameras to be installed on Broadway
Cameras will be set up in 11 different locations along a three-mile section of the A663, between Moston Lane East, close to junction 21 of the M60, and the start of the A627(M). A map of where the cameras are being installed can be found has been published on the National Highways website[1]. The cameras will enforce existing speed limits and red lights.

Work on the installation began on Monday, January 20 and it is expected to take around three months.
As a result of the work, there will be some lane closures, which will be taking place overnight on weeknights, 8pm to 5am.
Information about lane closures, as well as progress on the camera installation, can be found on the National Highways website.
Cameras are also being implemented in three other North West locations that have seen a high number of casualties and deaths due to collisions and speeding.
