A9 crash leads to three people being taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness
Three people were taken to hospital following a two-vehicle collision on the A9 last night. It is thought a lorry and car were involved in the crash near Arpafeelie, just south of the Tore roundabout at around 8.20pm. o More transport news[1]
o Sign up for our free newsletters[2] Part of the A9 was closed in both directions for a period following the crash, while emergency services were at the scene. A Scottish Ambulance Spokesperson said: "We received a call at 8.26pm regarding a traffic accident at the Munlochy junction on the A9 between Inverness and Tore.
"Three ambulances and the PICT trauma team were dispatched and arrived on-scene. Three adult patients were treated and taken to Raigmore Hospital, two of which had minor injuries."
