Appeal after driver, 80, seriously injured in three-vehicle crash in Great Shelford

An appeal for witnesses has been launched after a woman in her 80s was left with serious injuries following a three-car crash in Great Shelford.

A turquoise Hyundai Bayon, which was being driven by the woman, was in collision with a brown Honda CR-V and a parked Mercedes Vito Van in Woollards Lane at about 1.15pm yesterday (Thursday, 27 February). The Hyundai flipped on its side and the driver, a woman in her 80s, was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital, in Cambridge, where she was treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Honda was not injured.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage is urged to contact police online[1] or by calling 101, quoting incident 232 of 27 February.
