Biker injured after crash near rural Devon campsite
A biker has been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash near Branscombe in Devon yesterday, Sunday, February 16. Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene near Branscombe Cross after a car and motorbike crashed around 3.10pm. The biker suffered injuries and was taken to hospital.
It is not believed that his injuries are life-threatening or life-changing. The road near Kings Down Tail Caravan and Camping site was closed by police, but the closure was later lifted. At the time of the crash, roads and traffic monitoring site, Inrix, said: "A3052 in both directions closed, slow traffic due to accident between Beechtree Lane and Gatedown Lane."
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police has said: "Police were called to Branscombe Cross at around 3.10pm on Sunday 16 February following reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a motorcycle. "A road closure was put in place and later lifted. "The motorcyclist was taken to hospital.
His injuries are not considered life-changing or life-threatening."
