M606 Southbound: Junction 2 crash causes queuing traffic

The M606 is closed northbound between J2 and J3 near Bradford due to a serious collision. The incidents have happened at Junction 2 Merrydale Road (Euroway Trading Estates) between 5.11pm and 5.52pm. The most serious of those involved a lorry and a car.

National Highways say traffic caught within the closure is now beginning to be turned. Queuing traffic has been caused in the area.

A spokesperson from YAS told the T&A: "There is an ongoing incident on the M606. "Three separate incidents have occurred between 5.11pm and 5.52pm. The most serious of those appears to be between a lorry and a car.

"Several ambulance resources are at the scene, including an air ambulance."
