Major traffic problems on Bradford motorway following crash

EMERGENCY services have scrambled to three crashes on the motorway this evening. The M606 is closed northbound between J2 and J3 near Bradford due to a serious collision. The incidents have happened at Junction 2 Merrydale Road (Euroway Trading Estates) between 5.11pm and 5.52pm.

The most serious of those involved a lorry and a car. Latest on M606 crash: Four people taken to hospital[1] National Highways say traffic caught within the closure is now beginning to be turned.

A spokesperson from YAS told the T&A: "There is an ongoing incident on the M606.

"Three separate incidents have occurred between 5.11pm and 5.52pm.

The most serious of those appears to be between a lorry and a car.

"Several ambulance resources are at the scene, including an air ambulance."
