Man dies following M5 incident between Taunton and Bridgwater

A MAN died in an incident on the M5 yesterday between J25 Taunton and J24 Bridgwater (Wednesday, February 26) Avon and Somerset Police Confirm.

Emergency services were called shortly before 2.45pm following the incident involving a pedestrian and a lorry on the southbound carriageway between junctions 24 (Bridgwater South) and 25 (Taunton).

A man, in his 50s, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
