A man in his 80s is in hospital with leg injuries after a crash in Catterall. Lancashire Police closed the A6, Garstang Road, on the stretch between Cock Robin Lane and Tan Yard Lane. The crash is the second to take place on the same stretch of road within the space of less than a fortnight.
A cyclist in his 30s died in hospital[8] after a crash close to The Avenue and Old Lancaster Road at Catterall after being hit by a van. A police spokesperson confirmed a car hit a pedestrian around 7.15pm on Thursday (6 February). The road was closed for around two hours while police and emergency services worked at the scene.
