Mobile speed cameras in Hull and East Yorkshire

A number of roads will be visited by mobile speed camera vans in the coming days. Drivers can see where the mobile cameras are likely to be situated through the daily enforcement schedule on the Safer Roads Humber website[1], which is published each week. However, not all locations are listed on the schedule with enforcement officers also visiting other sites around the region over the coming days.

Humberside Police[2], in partnership with Safer Roads Humber, reserves the right to enforce speed limits on any road, at any time.

Mobile speed cameras will be in the following locations in East Yorkshire:

  • MON Feb 24: Weghill Road, Preston

  • TUE Feb 25: M62 between Junctions 37 and 38

  • WED Feb 26: Staithes Road, Preston

  • THU Feb 27: Kingsgate, Bridlington

  • FRI Feb 28: A165 Ganstead Lane, Hull

  • SAT Mar 1: Various sites across the region

  • SUN Mar 2: Various sites across the region

For those crossing the Humber Bridge[3] to the South Bank, mobile cameras will be in the following locations:

  • MON Feb 24: Grange Lane South, Ashby
  • TUE Feb 25: B1203 Waltham Road, Brigsley
  • WED Feb 26: Messingham Road, Scunthorpe (between Moorwell Road and Bottesford Beck)
  • THU Feb 27: A18 Barton Street Central (between Beelsby jct and B1203 Ashby Top rbt)
  • FRI Feb 28: A1084 Bigby High Road, Brigg
  • SAT Mar 1: Various sites across the region
  • SUN Mar 2: Various sites across the region
