Police hunting for three drivers after incident on busy road

The incident took place near the slip road for the A737 leading towards Johnstone, near the Linclive Interchange in Linwood, on January 22 at around 5.30pm. During the collision, officers said a cyclist in high-visibility clothing was struck by an unknown vehicle.

The force previously urged anyone who witnessed the crash or had dashcam footage of it to get in touch.

Now, cops have said it is believed that a white Audi, a white Citroen Van, and a grey Mercedes GLC all stopped at the scene of the incident.

Police are now looking to speak to the drivers of the three motors and any other witnesses.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Anyone who may have seen the incident or has any footage of this is urged to contact 101 and quote incident number 2546 of 22/01/2025."
