Two in hospital and one arrested after roundabout crash

Two drivers were taken to hospital and one was arrested after a crash between two vehicles. The incident, which took place on Thursday, involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Renault van. The driver of the Volkswagen was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury through dangerous driving, driving with no insurance, driving while disqualified, driving while unfit through drink or drugs, and possession of an offensive weapon.

Dyfed-Powys Police is now appealing for witnesses who may have seen the incident to come forward to help with their investigations. A police statement read: "Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating a two-vehicle road traffic collision that took place on the A477 at Sentry Cross roundabout just after 8.30am on Thursday, February 20.

The collision involved a dark blue Volkswagen Golf and a silver Renault van and resulted in both drivers being taken to hospital for treatment. "Both drivers have since been discharged. The driver of the Golf has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury through dangerous driving, driving with no insurance, driving while disqualified, driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs, and possession of an offensive weapon."
