Van overturns and hits Pewsey bridge

A road has been closed after a van crashed into a bridge and overturned.

Wiltshire Police said the A345 Marlborough Road is currently shut in both directions after the van hit the Pewsey Wharf Canal Bridge.

The force said drivers should use alternative routes and expect delays in the area while the vehicle is recovered.

Nobody was seriously injured in the incident, which happened at about 06:30 GMT, police added.
