A-road partially shut after lorry and cars collide

A major road has been partially closed following a crash involving a lorry and two cars.

Essex Police said the A12 had been shut southbound between junction 12 for Brentwood and junction 11 for the M25.

The crash happened at about 15:20 GMT and emergency services remained at the scene, police said.

National Highways said on X [1] that police, fire and East of England Ambulance Service crews were in attendance.
