A142 closed in both directions near Mepal after crash
A crash involving a lorry and a van has closed the A142 near Mepal today (Monday, 10 March). The A142 Ely Road is closed in both directions between the Block Fen roundabout and Sutton roundabout.
Police say it is likely to remain closed for some time following the collision, which happened shortly after 7am. Fire and ambulance are also in attendance and there are several miles of delays in both directions.
Motorists are being advised to avoid the area.
