A30 shut overnight after lorry crash left one in hospital

A road near Honiton was closed for several hours overnight after a crash between a van and a HGV, which left the van driver in hospital, police say. The crash, on the A30, was reported to Devon and Cornwall Police at 9pm on Thursday, March 20, with the road closed at around 10.20pm as officers attended and investigated the scene. The road remained closed during the night, before reopening at 2am.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called at 9pm on 20 March to the A30 at Daisy Mount Cross, following a collision involving a HGV and a van.
