Delays on M11 northbound after two-vehicle crash

Traffic has stopped on a northbound section of the M11 in Essex after a collision between a van and car.

Drivers have been warned of 50-minute delays on the stretch between junction 6 - for Epping - and junction 7 for Harlow since the crash at midday on Saturday.

Two out of three lanes remain closed and a spokesperson for National Highways said drivers are caught in about four miles (6.4km) of congestion.

Traffic officers are at the scene and recovery has been arranged following the collision, the spokesperson added.
