Dudley man charged over fatal M6 crash near Stoke-on-Trent
A man has been charged following the death of a lorry driver in a crash on the M6.
Ghulam Haider, from Dudley, is accused of causing death by dangerous driving and using a vehicle without insurance near Stoke-on-Trent on 27 February.
Cliff Tamou had left his HGV, which had broken down, when he was killed between junctions 15 and 16 shortly before 22:00 GMT.
Mr Haider, 22, appeared at North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Saturday and was remanded in custody until his next hearing at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on 7 April.
