Ford Transit van driver in Royal Stoke after HGV crash
A van driver has been taken to the Royal Stoke with serious injuries following a crash. Police are now appealing for witnesses to the collision between a HGV and a Ford Transit van on the A54 Holmes Chapel Road in Cheshire at around 2.40pm on Wednesday (March 12). The driver of the van, a 39-year-old man, sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital.
His injuries are not believed to be life changing. The driver of the HGV, a 49-year-old man, was uninjured. No arrests have been made at this time and enquiries remain ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
