GoFundMe page launched to support family of Cliff Tamou
Cliff Tamou died last week after a collision involving a Toyota Avensis and a white MAN Truck HGV on the M6 between junctions 15 and 16 southbound in Staffordshire. The driver of the HGV, 58-year-old Cliff, who was out of the vehicle as it had broken down, died at the scene. The driver of the Toyota, a 22-year-old man from Dudley, was taken to hospital with leg and facial injuries.

In a statement, SSO Logistics said: "The SSO Logistics family are extremely saddened to announce the tragic loss of our valued friend and work colleague, Clifford Tamou. "Clifford was a valued member of our Logistics Team, a dedicated professional HGV Class one driver, who took extreme pride in his attitude to his work environment and more so, to that of his fellow work colleagues and friends. "Clifford was an influential figure in the HGV driver industry, having worked previously in his career with other members of our Logistics team before joining the SSO Logistics family at the beginning of this year.
"Clifford will be sadly missed by all, and our thoughts and attentions are now with his immediate Family and friends. "God Bless Cliff, "From all at the SSO family."

On the fundraising page, organised by SSO Logistics, it states: "We were heartbroken to learn of the tragic accident that claimed the life of Cliff Tamou, a valued employee at SSO Logistics. "He was universally liked and well-respected, not only within our team but also throughout the wider community as a dedicated Rugby League referee and coach. "Cliff leaves behind a loving wife and children.
To support his family during this incredibly difficult time, we are raising funds to provide comfort and assistance.
"Our deepest condolences go out to Cliff's family, friends, and colleagues.
Together, we can show our love and support for those he cherished most."
