Live: Lorry crash closes two lanes on M5 near Cheltenham

Traffic is queuing for miles this afternoon (March 3) on the M5 in Worcestershire as a crash involving a lorry has closed two lanes on the northbound carriageway. The incident was reported shortly after 5pm, with traffic monitoring site, Inrix, stating: Long delays and two lanes closed due to an accident, a lorry involved on M5 Northbound near J7 A44 (Worcester/Evesham). Lanes two and three (of three) are closed.

Lane three is also closed on the opposite side." Traffic maps are showing traffic is queuing for around eight miles, between Kinnersley and Whittington. The nature of the crash is not yet known, nor whether anyone has been injured.
