Live M6 updates as motorway shut and ‘all emergency services’ scrambled to crash
Emergency services are currently at the scene of a collision on the M6 - which has left the motorway shut. National Highways has confirmed 'a lorry has left the carriageway' on the southbound stretch through Staffordshire. And the incident has resulted in a closure being put in place between Junction 14 and 13.
Meanwhile 'all emergency services' have been scrambled to the collision. This morning and a diversion has been put in place with motorists warned of delays in the area. A spokesperson for National Highways said: "The M6 in Staffordshire is closed southbound between Junction 14 (near Stafford) and Junction 13 (Dunston) due to a collision involving a lorry which has left the carriageway.
"All emergency services including Staffordshire Police[1] are attending the scene.
National Highways Traffic Officers are also on scene assisting with traffic management."
