Man who died in A90 crash named
A man who died after a crash on the A90 in Aberdeenshire has been named by police.
Emergency services were called to the scene near Laurencekirk on 12 February after the accident involving a lorry and van.
The 62-year-old male passenger of a van involved was pronounced dead at the scene.
He has now been named as Neil Humphreys from Warwickshire.
The driver of the van, a 43-year-old man, and the driver of the lorry, a 52-year-old man, were both taken to hospital for treatment.
Police have renewed an appeal for witnesses[1].
The road was closed for about 12 hours while investigations were carried out.
Sgt Dave Cooper said: "Our thoughts are very much with Mr Humphreys' family, who have asked for their privacy to be respected during this incredibly difficult time.
"Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the crash, and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the crash but has not yet come forward.
"I would also ask anyone who was driving in the area at the time with a dash-cam to check their footage and share anything that could assist our investigation."
