Mobile speed cameras in Hull and East Yorkshire

A number of roads will be visited by mobile speed camera vans in the coming days. Enforcement officers will visit the A1079 and Marfleet Lane/Marfleet Avenue in Hull among other busy routes in the region. Drivers can see where the mobile cameras are likely to be situated through the daily enforcement schedule on the Safer Roads Humber website[1], which is published each week.

However, not all locations are listed on the schedule with enforcement officers also visiting other sites around the region over the coming days.

Humberside Police[2], in partnership with Safer Roads Humber, reserves the right to enforce speed limits on any road, at any time.

Mobile speed cameras will be in the following locations in East Yorkshire:

  • MON March 31: B1249 Scarborough Road, Driffield

  • TUE April 1: A1079, Hayton

  • WED April 2: Bempton Lane, Bridlington

  • THU April 3: B1228 Main Street, Sutton on Derwent

  • FRI April 4: Marfleet Lane/Marfleet Avenue, Hull

  • SAT April 5: Various sites across the region

  • SUN April 6: Various sites across the region

For those crossing the Humber Bridge[3] to the South Bank, mobile cameras will be in the following locations:

  • MON March 31: Rosper Road, Killingholme
  • TUE April 1: West End Road, Epworth
  • WED April 2: A180 between Great Coates junction and Pyewipe roundabout
  • THU April 3: A15 Ermine Street (south of Redbourne Mere)
  • FRI April 4: West End Road, Epworth
  • SAT April 5: Various sites across the region
  • SUN April 6: Various sites across the region
