Motorcyclist taken to hospital with ‘life-changing injuries’

The incident happened on Monday, March 17 when police responded to reports of a crash on the A361 in Highworth involving a van and a motorcyclist. Police closed part of the A-road, causing cars to divert from the Aldi roundabout on Blackworth. A police statement said: "We responded to reports of a road traffic[2] collision involving a van and a motorbike on the A361, Highworth, just before 12.30pm this lunchtime (17/03).

"The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital with serious life changing injuries." Police are asking for any witnesses with dashcam footage to come forward. A spokesperson added: "If you saw what happened or have dashcam footage from the incident please contact us on 101 quoting the log number 106 of today's date (March 17).

"There has been a serious collision on the A361, Highworth involving a van and a motorcyclist.

"Please seek alternative routes while emergency services attend."
