Motorcyclists sent to hospital after crash near Banbury

The crash happened on the A361 between Wardington and Banbury, resulting in the road being closed both ways yesterday afternoon (Saturday, March 8). Police and the ambulance service attended the incident.

Thames Valley Police has confirmed it was a 'minor injury RTC (road traffic collision)' involving two motorbikes and a car.

One of the motorcyclists involved in the crash has since been in touch with the Oxford Mail. He said him and another motorcyclist was taken to the Horton Hospital in Banbury. He said he was treated for minor injuries.

According to an eyewitness, the road reopened at around 5.30pm.
