Pedestrian dies after Guildford crash involving HGV

A pedestrian has died after a crash involving an HGV on a busy Guildford[1] road. Emergency services were called to the A322 Worplesdon Road near its junction with Aldershot Road at around 9am on Tuesday, March 18. A 75-year-old woman died at the scene.

Her next of kin are being supported by specially trained officers. Surrey Police[2] has launched an investigation into the incident and is appealing for any witnesses to come forwards. The road was closed for a number of hours while emergency services[3] were on the scene.
