Rush hour drivers face severe M3 delays following crash that closed lanes on both carriageways
Motorists are facing severe delays on the M3 following a crash between a lorry and a car. The incident is causing 60-minute queues between junction 3 (Lightwater/Bagshot[1]) and junction 2 for the M25[2]. All traffic was temporarily[3] held on the M3 Monday afternoon (March 17).
Two lanes remain closed on the eastbound carriageway (towards the M25) due to the incident. All lanes are now open on the westbound carriageway after a lane closure to allow emergency services access. National Highways said firefighters remains on scene.
