Teenager, 17, arrested after car crash on busy Greenock road

At around 10.25am today (Tuesday, March 11), police officers attended the scene of a collision near Lady Alice Primary on Inverkip Road involving a blue vehicle and sliver Mazda. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 17-year-old male has been arrested in connection with road traffic offences, following a crash on Inverkip Road, Greenock, around 10.25am on Tuesday, March 11.

"Enquiries are ongoing."

Both lanes of the A78 in Greenock remain open.
