A-road blocked by overturned lorry carrying gravel

Part of a dual carriageway has been closed after a lorry transporting gravel overturned on a roundabout.

The vehicle toppled over on the A12 near The Hollies holiday resort in Kessingland, Lowestoft at about 08:25 BST but nobody was injured, Suffolk Police said, external[1].

Images showed the truck on its left side with a large pile of grey gravel strewn across the road.

A short southbound stretch of the A12 has been cordoned off and drivers advised to avoid the area.
