A14 closed in both directions following crash

Part of the A14 was been closed in both directions following a collision at a junction.

Suffolk Police was called to reports of a crash between a car and lorry at junction 55 for Copdock/Ipswich at about 13:43 GMT.

The force said it was called to the scene by the ambulance service.

The road was closed between junctions 55 and 56 (A137), but the eastbound carriageway reopened, according to National Highways, external [1].
