A345 Netheravon crash: Woman still in hospital with injuries

The crash took place at around 1.15pm on Wednesday afternoon, April 2, when a Ford Ranger, a Hyundai i10 and a Peugeot Expert Van all collided on the A345 in Wiltshire. The road was closed by emergency services and the driver of the Hyundai, a woman in her 70s, was rushed to hospital with suffering serious leg injuries. Wiltshire Police has now confirmed that the woman remains in hospital one day later, and her injuries are being treated as "potentially life-changing."

As enquiries into the crash continue, the police force are now urging anyone who may have witnessed the crash or could have dashcam footage to come forward. A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: "We are appealing for witnesses to a collision on the A345 yesterday afternoon (02/04), in which an elderly woman sustained potentially life-changing leg injuries. "The road was closed to allow for recovery and enquiries and has since reopened.

"Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage is asked to contact us on 101 quoting log 133 of yesterday's date (02/04)."
