‘Beloved’ man killed in crash on major Welsh A-road named

David Emrys "Junior" Williams, from the Llandudno Junction area, died aged 35 after the crash in Bodelwyddan on April 15. A 62-year-old lorry driver was arrested in connection with the incident, and he has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.[1] Following Mr Williams' death, his family has shared a tribute to him, released by North Wales Police.

It read: "David was the beloved son of Sharon and David, brother to Gemma and James, beloved father to Harry, Henry and Hayden, and former partner of Jenny. "Words cannot describe how devastated we are, and your family and friends will miss you dearly." The investigation to establish the cause of the crash is underway and officers continue to appeal for witnesses to the collision which happened during the early hours of April 15 on the westbound carriageway of the A55, near Kinmel Services.
