Biker in Royal Stoke with broken bones after A500 bridge crash
A biker has been taken to hospital with broken bones after a two-vehicle crash. Police, paramedics and an air ambulance were scrambled to the collision this morning. It happened at the junction of Alsager Road and the A500 - between Audley and Alsager - at 11.30am today.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: "We were called following reports of a collision. A motorbike and a van were found involved in a collision. The motorcyclist, a man, was taken to hospital by ambulance with a suspected leg and wrist fracture.
The vehicles will shortly be recovered from the scene. Officers currently remain at the location carrying out traffic management." ADVERTISEMENT
