Dorset: Crash on A35 near Dorchester causes delays
Delays have been reported along the A35 between the Stadium Roundabout and the Stinsford Roundabout close to Dorchester this morning due to a crash between a van and a car. A commuter travelling to Weymouth said: "A crash has been causing delays with traffic backed up along the Dorchester bypass." Motorists are advised to find alternative routes where possible.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police: "At 8.03am on Thursday, April 24, we received a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision involving a van and a car on the A35 Stinsford roundabout near Dorchester. Officers are currently in attendance. No injuries reported."
Heavy traffic has also been reported along Weymouth Avenue due to the ongoing Maumbury Junction works.
