Easter travel chaos on major Scots motorway as lorry overturns during rush hour

COMMUTERS are facing Good Friday travel chaos after a crash on a busy Scottish motorway sparked huge delays. Drivers[1] have been warned of major disruption this evening after a lorry reportedly overturned after it was involved in a collision with a campervan on the M74.

Emergency crews raced to the scene at Junction 7 near Larkhall, South Lanarkshire[2], at around 4.45pm. The crash happened on the central reservation and is affecting traffic[3] travelling in both directions.

Ambulances and multiple fire engines were spotted at the scene between junctions 7 and 8. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service told the Scottish Sun that hree appliances and a heavy rescue were deployed to the area.
