Easter weekend bus service for in and around Renfrewshire
McGill's Bus Service will run a normal timetable on Good Friday, April 18, Easter Saturday, April 19, and Easter Sunday, April 20. However, on Easter Monday, April 21, most services will switch to a Sunday schedule. Some exceptions apply: services 330, 330a, 331, 901/906, and X7 will follow a Saturday timetable on Easter Monday.
Several of McGill's routes will not run at all on Easter Monday. These include:
- 1a and 1b (Johnstone Station to Kilmacolm)
- 6 (Silverburn to Paisley via Nitshill, Hurlet and Lonend)
- 10 (Hawkhead Estate to Royal Alexandra Hospital)
- 17 and 17a (Foxbar to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital via Royal Alexandra Hospital and Cardonald)
- 20 (Johnstone to Paisley via Royal Alexandra Hospital and the University of the West of Scotland)
- 30 (Johnstone to Spateston Circular)
- 31 (Johnstone to Cochrane Castle
- 32 (Johnstone to Kilbarchan)
- 38a (Johnstone to Glasgow including journeys from Kilbarchan/Spateston)
- 81 and 81a (Linnvale to Duntocher via Clydebank and Hardgate)
- 124 (Cardonald to Govan Asda)
- 364 (Newton Farm to Parkhead)
- 374 (Shawlands to Silverburn via Giffnock and Thornliebank)
- 521, 521a, 521h (Erskine to Bishopton)
- 904 (Paisley to Largs)
- X21 (Paisley to Glasgow via Dean Park and the M8)
- X22 (Port Glasgow to Clydebank)
- X23 (Erskine to Glasgow via Braehead)
- 507 (Greenock to Trumpethill via Cardwell Bay)
- 530 (Port Glasgow to Kilmacolm)
- 906x Clyde Flyer (Largs to Glasgow).
Meanwhile, First Glasgow will also maintain normal service from Friday, April 18 to Sunday, April 20 On Easter Monday, buses will operate on a Sunday timetable.
It's also worth noting that there will be no night buses running on Easter Monday.
