A53 pedestrian with 'serious' injuries' in Royal Stoke after 'collision' with van
The alarm was raised at 12.20pm this afternoon. A West Midlands Ambulance Service[1] spokesman said: "We were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Leek Road and sent an ambulance, a paramedic officer, a North Staffordshire BASICS doctor, and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford to the scene. "On arrival, crews found a van and a pedestrian had been involved in a collision.
The pedestrian, a man, was treated by ambulance staff for serious injuries before being conveyed via land ambulance to Royal Stoke University Hospital[2]."
