Drivers are being warned to 'plan ahead' after a multi-vehicle collision on the M42.
The crash happened on the southbound carriageway between junction 10 for Tamworth[1] and junction 9 for Curdworth, just before 4.30pm, today, Sunday, April 13.

It is not yet clear on the nature of any injuries.
Emergency services are at the scene.
Motorway cameras show the traffic backing up.
National Highways: West Midlands posted on X: "There are delays in excess of 30 minutes on the #M42 southbound between J10 #Tamworth[5] and J9 #Curdworth / #M6Toll @M6tollRoad.
"Lane 2 (of 2) is closed due to a multi-vehicle collision.
"@warkspolice & NH #TrafficOfficers are in attendance.
