M6 gridlock as lorry and car ‘collide with road furniture’
Motorway traffic came to a stop after a lorry and car were 'involved in a collision with road furniture'. Police were scrambled to the southbound stretch of the M6 around North Staffordshire following reports of a crash. And as reported by StokeonTrentLive[1] the incident on Friday afternoon so traffic brought to a temporary stop.
Now Staffordshire Police[2] has confirmed there were no injuries following the crash, which occurred at around 2.25pm. A spokeswoman for the force said: "We were called to the M6 southbound between junctions 15 and 14 following reports of a collision. "A lorry and a car were involved in a collision with road furniture.
No injuries were reported. "We informed Highways." The incident was cleared at around 3pm.
