M6 ‘long delays’ live after rush hour crash between van and car

Motorists have been warned to expect 'long delays' on the M6 motorway after a crash this afternoon, Monday, April 7. It follows a collision between a van and a car on the southbound carriageway after junction six for the A38 Tyburn Road at Spaghetti Junction. All lanes were initially closed as officers worked to clear the motorway.

It was later reopened, but delays remain approaching the scene. Traffic data monitor Inrix posted: "Long delays due to earlier accident, a van and a car involved on M6 Southbound after J6 A38 Tyburn Road (Spaghetti Junction). Congestion to J7 (Great Barr).
