‘Most perfect, precious boy’
The mother of a 14-year-old who was killed on the M6 is wanting public support to find answers about what happened. Ryan-Liam Morgan was the passenger in a van that came off the carriageway of the motorway on Sunday, April 20[1], with the vehicle said to have crashed into a tree. His father, who was driving the van at the time, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Kim Morgan, who lives in Kendal, said: "We can't express the devastation this has caused our family - we are eternally heartbroken. "Ryan-Liam was the most perfect, precious little boy you would ever see and he grew to be more beautiful every day. ADVERTISEMENT
"He was the most amazing son and brother to Primrose and Summer and we will miss him as long as we live." Emergency services responded to the incident at around 12.15pm on April 20, with the van having crashed between junctions 34 and 33 on the M6 near Lancaster. Lancashire Police confirmed that no other vehicles were involved in the incident, whilst the motorway was reopened at 8.20pm later that day.
Kim is now asking for members of the public to come forward with any information about what took place on Easter Sunday. She added: "If anyone was on the M6 and saw anything or a friend did please, please tell me no matter how bad - we just want answers, the grief is unbearable. "He was so perfect, he was my baby boy, and I want to hold him so much right now.
"RIP our perfect, beautiful Ryan-Liam." ADVERTISEMENT The police are also encouraging any witnesses to come forward to assist their ongoing investigation.
