Motorbike and van crash during rush hour traffic on A31

Rush hour traffic was brought to a standstill earlier this morning after the crash on the A31 near to the Canford Bottom Roundabout. It caused delays to motorists heading through the roundabout for an hour and half as police officers and paramedics responded. The road was cleared just after 10am.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 8.30am on Tuesday 15 April 2025 of a collision on the A31 near Canford Bottom Roundabout involving a van and a motorbike. "Officers attended alongside the ambulance service. "Minor injuries were reported.

"The motorbike had been recovered by around 10am."
