Miriam Yarimi, a New York City[2] wigmaker who stands accused of killing a mom and two daughters in a gruesome car wreck[3], was heard screaming and swearing in an entitled rant at the scene of the crash.

Yarimi, 32, appeared in court on Wednesday after she was indicted for the slaughter of Natasha Saada, 34, and her daughters, Diana, 8, and Deborah, 5[4], on March 29. Saada's youngest child, Phillip, is currently in a medically induced coma and was revealed to have lost one of his kidneys.

The jailed driver allegedly snapped at responding emergency crews as they entered onto the scene of the deadly crash, according to court records obtained by the New York Post[5].

'What the f*** is taking so long. Motherf***er, get me the f*** out of here.

No, you want a minute. No, you f***ing wait a minute,' she allegedly said.

'Get out of my way, you b***. F*** you.'

The verbal abuse continued as she was taken to hospital, as she continued: 'Take me out of these cuffs.

Why can't you uncuff me? I am a wigmaker.'

Yarimi was allegedly talking to two police officers while at the hospital.

'Uncuff me. I want my lawyer.

Where's my lawyer? I need my lawyer if I'm going to speak to the cops,' she continued.

Her unhinged behavior was coupled with her claim that she 'had the devil' in her eye and said: 'F*** you, I need a whole work-up to get whatever is in my body out of it.'

Yarimi was also asking for her daughter and claimed, while in custody, that she 'didn't kill anyone,' CBS News[6] reported.

Prosecutors further said the wigmaker told officers, 'People are out to get me.'

Yarimi also refused to take a breathalyzer test said allegedly told a detective: 'I do not want to put my breath on something that is going to contain my DNA... No, I'm good.

Want to smell my breath? There's no alcohol on my breath.'

'Sure, go for it. I'm just saying I don't like my DNA on things,' she continued.

Earlier this month, Yarimi appeared virtually for a hearing while she was undergoing a psychological evaluation, CBS reported.

The tragedy in Brooklyn occurred as Yarimi, who was allegedly driving at twice the speed limit and ran multiple red lights, is accused of crashing her Audi A3 into a Toyota Camry before hitting the Saada family.

Brookyln District Attorney Eric Gonzalez said that he had been in contact with the family who are 'devastated.'

Gonzalez confirmed that Phillip is 'still fighting for his life,' and added that is was 'clear that the entire community has suffered a tremendous loss.'

'There has been a lot... he has a lot of damage. They are still looking to see whether or not there are going to be lifelong consequences from the injuries,' he said.

Phillip was also reported to have suffered from skull fractures and brain bleeding.

Gonzalez said to media outside of the courthouse on Wednesday: 'In my 25 years as a prosecutor in Brooklyn, this still remains one of the worst collisions that I have ever seen on a New York City street.'

Yarimi's records show that she was driving with a suspended driver's license and had more than 93 traffic violations, 20 speeding tickets and £10,000 in fines.

The violations included tickets for speeding through a school zone, running a red light and parking over a fire hydrant.

'A driver who is reckless and continue to speed, who continues to run red lights, they can pay off those camera tickets, there are no points on their license and technically their cars are not in scoff,' Gonzalez said.

'What is very clear is that she should not have been on the road that day. Had she not been on the road driving that Audi on that day, the family would have survived this terrible incident,' Gonzalez said

Yarimi also allegedly struck an Uber on the same day, injuring a mother and her three children as well as the driver.

The driver of another vehicle, which flipped upside down, also suffered minor injuries, ABC 7[7] reported.

Yarimi's lawyers, however, argue that this is her first encounter with the criminal justice system and said that 'people should hold their judgement.'

'They need to prove that the Department of Motor Vehicles actually sent out the notification and that the postal office actually delivered. I have reason to believe that her license was not suspended,' he said.

Attorney Joe Amsel argued for conditional release and said that the defendant was not a flight risk and has no previous violent offenses.

However, previous court records indicate that this is not her first violent offence following a run in with her neighbor and a hammer.[8]

Yarimi had an eviction petition filed against her by her landlord in April 2024 after she allegedly banged on her neighbor's door with a hammer and 'verbally' abused them.

The neighbor told the New York Post that she had tried to attack them with a hammer in their apartment.

Court records obtained by the outlet accuse Yarimi of pounding on her neighbor's door while 'verbally abusing, cursing, threatening, yelling and screaming.'

The woman told the Post she had 'no idea' why Yarimi targeted her apartment.

She allegedly damaged the door and ruined the keypad.

'It's very emotional... it's been too much,' the woman revealed.

The building's management company, P and 21 LLC, alleged that if the door wasn't locked, Yarimi could have hurt her neighbors.

The petition slammed Yarimi's alleged actions as 'dangerous' and 'detrimental,' which negatively impacted the 'well-being of the residents in the building.'

At the time of the alleged altercation, Yarimi was living in the luxury Brooklyn apartment building with her now ex-husband, Shneur Kovitz.

Childhood friend Ahuva Katzin said that Yarimi had a history of unstable behavior, and that she had come from a 'nerdy religious' family.

Katzin told the Poist: 'Her happy phases always go to religion. Like every other week you'll see she's religious and then the next she's not religious.

'She'll swear that she's going to keep Shabbat, and then three days later you'll see her on a cruise in a photo that was taken on Shabbat.'

They added that Yarimi was 'devastated' after her affair with a married NYPD officer, which started when she was 14, abruptly ended.

She later sued the city over the illegal tryst and won a £2 million settlement last year, the Post reported.

A friend of the Saada family said that they were relieved that she was denied bail on Wednesday.

They told the Post: 'She doesn't care about human beings and the world. She only cars about herself.

She looks at human beings as cockroaches. She's very selfish. She doesn't see red lights nor cars nor people walking in the crosswalk.

All she sees is herself.'

Gonzalez, ABC 7 reported, said: 'It actually exceeds just being reckless, it's almost being wanton, we're not going to tolerate that.'

'The consequences of her flouting traffic laws and commonsense were disastrous, and we will now seek to hold her fully accountable for this criminally reckless behavior,' he added.

Yarimi remains in custody with her next court date scheduled for June 11.

Her attorney entered a not guilty plea on Wednesday to her charges of manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide and several other charges.

She faces 15 to 45 years in prison if convicted as charged.
