Police are appealing for witnesses following serious three-vehicle crash on A149 at Castle Rising
Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious crash between three cars on the A149 yesterday morning at Castle Rising. The incident happened when a black Volkswagen Arteon was travelling along the A149 Queen Elizabeth Way at 10.50am in the direction of Dersingham from Lynn and collided with a black Audi A1[1] and a white Ford Transit van. The driver of the Audi sustained a fractured ankle and lower leg injuries and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance.
The road was closed while emergency services attended, including paramedics and the fire service, and was open by 1.30pm.
A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service said: "We sent two ambulances and an ambulance officer vehicle. "Three people were taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further care."
