Two people rushed to hospital after motorway crash between lorry and two cars
There was a large emergency services response at the scene

Emergency services scrambled to the M6 following a crash involving a lorry and two cars near Greater Manchester.
Police, firefighters and paramedics all descended on the motorway following a crash on the northbound carriageway just after 2am this morning (April 1).
Article continues belowThe incident took place between junctions 22 near Newton-le-Willows and 23 at the East Lancs Road.
Officers from Cheshire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside police forces all attended the scene.
According to Cheshire Police, an initial crash involved a lorry and a car. The car was then involved in a collision with a second vehicle.
Both the driver and passenger of the first car, a man and a woman, were taken to hospital for assessment.
No other injuries were reported to Cheshire Police. Highways officers fully closed the motorway in both directions for more than an hour following the crash.
Traffic was released before 4am, with two lanes shut in either directions while emergency central reservation repairs took place, according to National Highways.
A spokesperson for North West Motorway Police Group (NWMPG) wrote on X: "All three forces in the NWMPG are responding to a three vehicle RTC junction 22 to 23 on the M6 north.
"Please take care through this stretch as officers are in the carriageway This is right on the border of all three forces."
The incident was cleared by 5.25am.
