Woman in 70s with life changing injuries after A345 crash

At around 1.15pm on April 2, emergency services, including an air ambulance, were called to a crash on the A345 near Netheravon due to a crash between a Peugeot van and a Hyundia I10. Wiltshire Police has said: "At around 1.15pm we responded to a two vehicle collision between a Peugeot van and a Hyundia I10 on the A345 near Netheravon. "The driver of the Hyundia, a woman in her 70s, suffered potentially life-changing leg injuries.

"The road is currently closed to allow for recovery and enquiries." The fire service has said they found 'three vehicles involved', but it is understood just two cars were in the accident. It also confirmed one driver was taken to hospital by air ambulance.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service has said: "We were called at 1:36pm today with reports of a multi vehicle road traffic collision. "Two crews were mobilised, from Pewsey and Amesbury and on arrival found three vehicles involved. The driver of one vehicles was released by firefighters and transported to hospital by air ambulance.

"The other vehicles were made safe and our stop was in at 2:57pm.

The road is still closed."
