A38: Key road in Quedgeley near Stroud closed after crash
Police received a report of a collision involving a van and a car at the traffic lights by the ASDA supermarket on the Naas Lane Link Road in Quedgeley at around 6.30am this morning (Friday, May 9). No one was injured in the two-vehicle crash. A road closure is in place on the A38 in Kingsway following the collision.
Closures are in place to enable a lamppost damaged in the crash to be made safe and for one of the vehicles to be recovered. The carriageway is expected to remain closed for a number of hours. People are being asked to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
Anyone who witnessed the collision but has not yet spoken to police[1] or who has dashcam footage they feel is relevant is asked to make contact.
