Chaos as cars funnel into one lane after lorry hits central reservation
All lanes have been closed on the M3 after a lorry crashed into the central reservation, Hampshire police confirmed. Drivers on the motorway have been forced to funnel into one lane and exit the northbound carriageway at Junction 12 at Eastleigh[1], causing chaos just ahead of where the crash has closed the road. The driver of the lorry was taken to hospital as emergency services continue to attend the scene.
Traffic was temporarily held stationary this morning heading north on the M3 from Junction 13 A335 Leigh Road to Junction 12.
