Live M25 updates as two lorries collide at Godstone causing road closure and severe delays
Part of the M25[1] is closed on Wednesday morning (May 14) following a serious collision between junction 6 for A22 Godstone and junction 7 for Sevenoaks and the M26. Two lorries collided at 3.45am, a mile after junction 6 and the road is expected to stay closed all morning, and possibly for most of the day. Motorists can expect severe delays with congestion to junction 7 for the M23.
Travel site Inrix added: "Long delays opposite with onlookers from junction 5, and heavy diverting via the A25 past Oxted and Banstead." One lorry overturned, spilling fuel on the carriageway. Surrey Fire and Rescue service are currently in attendance.
